Conductors and insulators

We have been investigating which materials conduct electricity (let electricity pass through them easily) and which ones can be used to insulate (do not allow electricity to pass through them). By testing different metals, plastic, rubber and wood, we came to the conclusion that all metals are good conductors and that the plastic covering those surrounding wires is an electrical insulator. Simply stops you from getting an electrical shock.
